Import/Export

This Help topic refers to the Import/Export sub-menu available for working with Collect!'s Import Module.

The Import/Export sub-menu gives you access to all the functions available when you use the optional Import Module. Select File from the top menu bar to access the Import/ Export menu.

Useful Note If you are trying to import or export data maps, reports or contact plans, please refer to the following Help topics.

Import/Export

From the Import/ Export menu, you can:

  • Import and export data between Collect! and other systems
  • Create and customize import maps
  • Create and load new import libraries
  • Save or load import maps between import libraries
  • Export your entire database or selected Clients

Useful Note Collect! can import any ASCII file that is readable by your PC. Examples are a *.csv (comma separated value) file or a fixed length file. Even a consistent report can be printed to file rather than to the printer to produce a text file. If you or your clients are unsure of format, please request information from Collect! Technical Services.

Import/Export is an add-on extension module in Collect!. If it was not part of your purchase, please request pricing information from Comtech Systems Inc.
